Stuff firmly before closing. Fasten off, leaving a tail.
Nose
With orange yarn, chain 4, then sc twice into the 2nd chain from hook working around the small tube shape to create a tiny cone. Fasten off leaving a tail and sew to the center of the head as a small carrot-shaped nose.
Assembly
Sew the head sphere on top of the body sphere, centering it and securing well. Embroider or sew 3 small buttons down the front of the body. Insert small twigs or bent pipe cleaner pieces into the sides of the body for arms (secure with a dab of fabric glue if needed).
Scarf
Chain a length long enough to wrap around the neck with some hanging down (approximately 20-24 sts), then work 2-3 rows of single crochet. Add small fringe to each end by cutting short lengths of yarn and knotting them through the end stitches. Wrap around the neck join between head and body, crossing the ends and tacking in place with a few stitches.
Finishing
Weave in all ends. Add a small crocheted hat or leave the head bare for a classic bald snowman look.
Tip: use a slightly fuzzy or bouclรฉ white yarn if you have some on hand โ it gives a lovely "snowy" texture without any extra work.
